Before finding this guage I had to remove everything from under the kitchen sink, remove the floor of the cupboard then tape together a wooden ruller 12 foot long, to keep the sections from floating to the surface while i'm laying on the floor trying to get the ruller to reach the bottom of the tank, I'm old now and don't need to be doing all this just to check the water level in the cistern. I am so very greatful this guage works like a sweet dream for me. easy to use and looks good mounted on the window sill. I don't even need the big flashlight to read the marks of the guage anymore... I had been looking for some kind of gauge or thinking up complicated ways to make one, when I found this on the internet. I installed mine quite neatly and quickly, and it is very accurate. If you leave the line pressurized, the needle will slowly lower with the level of the water. Thanks a bunch! Daniel H, Colorado...

Until now we always had a problem estimating the amount of water in our old (very old) cistern that is buried in the ground besides our barn. With your gauge we don't have to guess anymore.
